I saw this movie: Jumper last night, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, I have been reading a lot of comments on IMDb to get an idea of what to expect, many people were negative about the operating performance of Hayden Christensen, so i do not not agree, I think it handles the character of an interesting way, taking into account their left home at age 16 or so, he raised himself and uses his skills to support in a wild and fun. So is not your average run of the mill child, nobody knows what he can do and can do, basically, and go anywhere, apart from creating a character type, so under these circumstances I believe that their performance was good, maybe not worthy of an Academy Award, but totally interesting to see, I liked his intensity. Overall I thought it was a great DVD movie Jumper for what it was, the special effects are excellent, and the story holds together in most respects. The concept is something that breaks all we thought at one time or another, like time travel. I think many people who comment on IMDb have no idea what is going to make a movie, but like if possible criticism. When I go to the movies I want to be entertained, this Jumper film certainly did! Take a look and do not forget the popcorn! 7-10

You know, if I was being chased by a group of insane psychopaths who wanted to kill me, I would be God darned tempted to shoot a gun. Unfortunately, the hero, who otherwise can do anything and everything you want to buy, is too stupid to do so. And choose any replacement for the word "stupidity" you like. It is likely that you yell at the screen, probably along with some color metaphors. It's not as if this is a 'hero' history. The guy is a complete idiot redeemable without a bone in his body to the opening credits. Change in any way, learns nothing, and always keeps an IQ lower than their shoe size. That is roughly the level of intelligence that you need to lower yourself to enjoy this movie. Do not give them your money. Do not waste your time. Do not reward this type of film.

Impressive effects, swooping camera angles, an interesting concept and more than compensate for the shortcomings of the movie: Jumper - that is, Hayden Christensen - reprising the sad, hurt, misunderstood, petulant anti-hero role he played so ineffective in the Star Wars prequels. The other performances are sound (Samuel L Jackson dryer included), especially with Jamie Bell as Griffin nervous. His performance adds to the frenetic energy of the movie: Jumper and every scene without him is the worst for him. While the pace and energy of the DivX film Jumper keeps you glued to your seat, it is only on reflection that I realized how unsatisfactory the story was ultimately - leaving me with a "is that all?" kind of feeling. The answer, of course, will probably be 'No' as this Jumper Thriller film seems to have been made with the idea of sequels firmly in sight. Overall - a well-made film, with scenes inside the Colosseum is worth the price of admission alone - if only someone else had in sharing the lead!
